March into Spring with Confidence.

Cherry Blossoms

It’s finally Spring.

The cold is (hopefully) gone and the sun is out, so there’s no more hiding behind the winter gloom! Whether you’re a busy-body, a homebody, or somewhere in between, we thought of a few ways to put a little spring in your step and draw out that glow from within. Here are 4 Spring beauty tips:

  1. Glow Consistently  The easiest thing you can do this season is to be consistent with your routine. Hydrate from the inside out by drinking water throughout the day, eating whole foods, and cleansing in the morning and evening every day. Need a little extra boost? A skin serum in the AM and before bed is a fast and easy way to maintain moisture without overcomplicating things.
  2. Less is More  Save time and let your natural beauty shine through by lightening your makeup routine. A full face of makeup can look and feel heavy in the spring and summer sun, and most likely isn’t necessary. Go with a lighter-coverage foundation or a tinted moisturizer for warmer months and apply only where you need to.
  3. Highlight YOU  Regardless of whether or not you wear makeup, a little bit of highlighter adds a very literal glow to your face! (We’re not talking about the yellow marker, but the shimmery, shiny stick or powder you see in the makeup aisle.) Add a touch of highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones, the center of your forehead, down the center of your nose, on your cupid’s bow (right above your lips and below your nose), and your chin to look fresh and vibrant, bringing out that inner glow.
  4. Think Pink  Spring is the season for pastels. Go lighter with your lip color and blush, working in shades of pastel pink or peach to match the natural, happy feeling of the season. Apply blush with a light hand and opt for a sheer, healthy lip balm with a hint of color.

Happy Spring!
