BiovaDerm®

Made of water soluble egg membrane, BiovaDerm delivers collagen, elastin, desmosine and isodesmosine (amino acids responsible for elastin’s elastic properties), and glycosaminoglycans (including glucosamine and chondroitin) deep within the skin. This 100% natural ingredient is clinically-proven to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, hydrate and moisture-balance the skin, improve skin tone and resilience, as well as texture and feel, and protect skin from free radicals and oxidative damage and stress associated with aging. Clinical efficacy research shows BiovaDerm results in up to 60% decrease in wrinkles. BiovaDerm is a registered trademark of Biova LLC.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Rich in gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and gently moisture-balances all skin types. GLA also plays a role in firming and toning your skin. Good for people with sensitive skin, apricot kernel oil is non-irritant and soothing. It is light and absorbs deeply, making skin smooth and supple and providing long-term moisturization. Apricot kernel oil heals and strengthens under-eye skin, reduces dark circles and puffiness, improves skin tone and reduces signs of aging.

Avocado Oil

Deeply absorbed and delivers nutrients to the deep layers of the skin. Avocado oil softens skin, reduces the prevalence of age spots, promotes the healing of sun-damaged skin, triggers the production of collagen and protects skin against wrinkles, fine lines and other signs of aging. Avocado oil has an exceptional capability for retaining water in skin and hydrates deeper than even coconut oil.

Biosaccharide Gum-1

Moisturizing and skin-smoothing ingredient that works by binding water to the epidermis and creating a moisture-binding film on the skin. In addition to providing long-lasting moisturization, it also functions as an anti-irritant.

Carrot Seed Oil

One of the most under-appreciated essential oils. Packed with healing vitamin A, collagen-boosting vitamin C, moisturizing vitamin E and natural healing properties, carrot seed oil aids in healing, nourishes and balances moisture levels, tightens, and revitalizes skin. Carrot seed oil has the ability to rejuvenate dry, mature, and wrinkled skin, as well as protect and repair skin from UV rays, pollution, and stress. Carrot seed oil is known to help in healing eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis because of its ability to stimulate cell growth and repair damaged skin.

Chamomile Flower Oil

Widely known for its anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties. Chamomile flower oil enhances the appearance of dehydrated or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness to the skin. Chamomile flower oil is rich in flavonoids which help improve the speed at which damaged skin heals. It is often used as a natural treatment for skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis. Chamomile flower oil also increases the absorption of other ingredients like antioxidants.

Coconut Oil

Hydrates deeply and thoroughly by bolstering the skin’s natural lipid barrier. Coconut oil has anti-microbial properties to reduce breakouts and natural antioxidants to protect skin from free radical damage, including limiting damage from the sun.

Cymbopogon Martini Oil

Also known as palmarosa oil, a skin conditioning agent and tonic. It works to balance the skin's sebum (oil) production to combat oiliness and it is especially effective in treating acne and dermatitis, preventing scarring, and rejuvenating and regenerating the skin. Cymbopogon martini oil moisturizes the skin while balancing hydration levels and stimulating cell regeneration.

Decyl Glucoside

A gentle and natural surfactant that does not dry the skin.

Extract of Green Tea

A powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging ingredient, and is revered by the cosmetic and dermatological communities because it contains the polyphenol epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). EGCG polyphenols are widely known for helping to block the development of skin-cancer cells. Green tea extract is effective in treating puffy eyes and dark circles, is widely known to help fight acne-causing bacteria, reduces redness and inflammation brought about by acne, draws out impurities, reduces large pores and gives skin a healthy glow. Green tea extract is also an extremely effective treatment for rosacea.

Glycerin

A naturally-occurring, gentle emollient and humectant that balances moisture levels in skin. Glycerin attracts water to skin, slows and prevents excessive drying and evaporation, and helps skin to feel smoother and softer. Natural glycerin helps serve as a substrate to allow skin to mature properly, helping people with diseases such as psoriasis and non-melanoma skin cancers.

Hyaluronic Acid

Has a remarkable ability to retain moisture and is known as a “smart nutrient” because it adjusts moisture absorption based on humidity. Hyaluronic acid aids in tissue repair, strengthens the skin’s barrier, provides antioxidant defense against free-radical damage, and reduces inflammation.

Jojoba Oil

Acts as a natural skin conditioner, so it is readily accepted and tolerated by the skin, locking in moisture and creating a barrier. Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to soothe and protect irritated skin.

Seabuckthorn Seed Oil

Dates back thousands of years and is well-known today for its healing and rejuvenating effects on the skin. Seabuckthorn seed oil, high in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties, promotes skin hydration, elasticity, and skin regeneration, helps treat and prevent acne, can help heal sunburn, rashes, and other types of skin damage, and may be beneficial for chronic skin conditions like rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. A true nutritional anomaly, seabuckthorn seed oil contains essential fatty acids (EFAs) Omega-6 and Omega-3 in a near-perfect 1:1 ratio, and also contains Omega-9. EFAs help cells stay fluid and flexible, allowing nutrients to enter and wastes to exit. EFAs also increase the production of collagen and waterproof the skin, protecting against the elements and preventing dryness and premature aging.

Shea Butter

A fantastic moisturizer with exceptional healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Shea butter protects skin’s natural oils, aids in rebuilding collagen, maintains skin’s elasticity, and helps to heal sun damage.

Shea Oil

Rich in Vitamin E, fatty acids and minerals, and softens and protects skin, reduces wrinkles and fine lines, nourishes and moisturizes skin, improves and restores balance and skin tone, and improves elasticity. The fatty acids in shea oil stimulate cell restoration and growth, and heal damage.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate

An extremely gentle, non-drying surfactant based on coconut fatty acids that helps water mix with oil and dirt, allowing them to be more easily rinsed away.

Vitamin C Palmitate

Also called ascorbyl palmitate, readily absorbed by the skin where it can combat free radicals that lead to skin that looks unhealthy and aged. Because vitamin C palmitate is easily absorbed, it delivers multiple benefits of vitamin C to your skin, including the production of collagen, the prevention of wrinkles, and the elimination of blotchiness that makes skin look aged.
